Success Stories 2 NekoHi Pauline, I have just found your web site and while
doubt if you will remember me but I thought you might be interested to hear
about one of your older success stories. I was fortunate enough to be allowed
to rehome one of your rescue cats in early 1998, an old fashioned type seal
point Siamese; he was called Chineba but has been known as Neko ever since. I
just wanted to let you know although he is recovering from a fairly serious
illness he is still very much alive and loved. keep up the good work all the
best Judy
Phoebe
Hello from Phoebe. She is settling in very well, likes to be nice and warm. I've taken her in the garden a few times but not to keen on staying out too long. She is eating well and seems contented. Hope you like the photos, will send some for the previous owner. Could you let me have your address so that I can send you some photos for the previous owner and a letter and also would you send me her pedigree. Many thanks Madeleine Fitzjohn
Tonka
pauline, hope this reaches you ok and the picture of nellie and tonka, tonka has just about lost his attitude problem, gets on well with nellie, they have two or three daft half hours in with they chase each other all over the house in which they now own and we the lodgers sit and have a good laugh at thier antics.pat and gary, altofts normanton.
Fliss
Hi Pauline
Just sending you an update on how Fliss is settling in. As soon as we arrived back in Harrogate she made herself at home, on the first night her and Timmy kept a little distance but never let each other out of their sight and by the second night they were cuddling up together and cleaning each other, since then they have never been more than three feet apart. Timmy's stopped following us around the house for attention and stopped squawking since Fliss arrived. When they are not cuddled up together they are chasing around the house like two kittens. I've attached a few photos of them. On a sadder note we have still not found Roddy but we will keep looking. Thanks again for all the help and we will keep you updated.
Kind thanks
Jonathan & Vickie Harrison
It's a hard life! This Tortie was homed in 2009
Caspar Hi Pauline, Hope you're well and had a nice Christmas. Hope
you're managing in the snow.
It's Jane from Leeds who
took Caspar 3 years ago. He's now nearly 6 and I wondered if you have
any kittens coming up for re-homing? I notice you get them from
time-to-time.
Here's a pic of Caspy. He's doing fine but has had
struvite crystals in his urine, which he's been treated
for.
All the best,
Jane
Mia at Christmas 2009
 Dear Pauline,
I attach a photo of Mia enjoying Christmas. She
really is a very special cat and much loved by all, especially the
children. I have never known a cat that likes human company so much and
interacts so well. She sleeps every night on my eldest son's bed. You obviously
did not manage to get hold of her pedigree after the last time we spoke - let me
know if you have.
We are thinking about getting ourselves another cat
and would be grateful if you could let me know if you have a young adult
(Siamese, Burmese oriental, Bengal) who might go down well with Mia and the rest
of the family. Winter time is a good time for us to spend time indoors with a
new cat so if anything suitable comes up in the next few weeks please let me
know.
With best wishes for 2010.
Richard
Burt and Ernie
Hi Pauline just a quick note to let you know how happy we are with our new
cats (Formelly Burt and Ernie) and how happy they are now they've had chance
to settle in.They have both put on some weight especially the bigger one and
the problems with his digestion and toileting when we first got him have just
about cleared up. The vet said this was probably due to stress and
diet........ We've had them for about five weeks now and they have really got
their confidance up and found their feet, Not that it took the bigger one
long in the first place, The smaller one was, as you know a little more timid
and for the first week he spent much of his time hiding.... and we spent much
of his first week finding him. That all seems in the past now and it turns
out that he is the fussy one of the two and likes plenty of attention,
stroking and rolling around having his ears, chin and belly rubbed along
with lots of sitting on knees etc etc...... The bigger one is the one
that causes all the mischief around the place and spends alot of his
time exploring and climbing on top of anything he can and generally
getting into bother .... im sure you can imagine 8-) In the last week or so
we have been letting them out into the garden for a short while each
day which they love although they think that wood pigeons are
terrifying and not to keen on the snow this week either.... they have met
the neighbours cats and seem to have made friends rather than foes which
is a relife for all concerned. They have learned to use the cat flap
to get into the conservatory and as soon as the weather picks up we
think we might open the cat flap to the outside world 8-/ (SCAREY)!!!!
Im sure they'll be fine.....!!! Anyway we just wanted to say we think
you do a wonderful job and we hope you realise you make a lot of people
and a lot of needy cats very happy. Many many thanks from us and the cats
Evie
Hi Pauline
Just a quick e-mail to let you know that "Evie" has
arrived home safely in Guernsey and has already eaten one bowl of dry food, some
chicken pieces and had a few drinks of water, she was even brave enough to
venture from her box to have a quick walk around her house (our spare
bedroom!).
We will keep you updated of her
progress.
Kind Regards
Martin, Ashley & Evie xx
Rocco
Hi Pauline,
Finally some news just to let you know
how well Rocco has settled in.
You mentioned the family were going back
to South Africa so you can assure them that Rocco is adored by everyone in the
family. He has put on a little weight is looking very handsome and is now very
relaxed with us as you can see.
Kind regards
The Horscraft family

Heidi
Hi Pauline Just thought I would update you on the snowy bengal we picked
up from you a few weeks ago, "Beauty" who we have renamed "Heidi" due to her
tendency to disappear in the house and make us think she has escaped!
She spent the first couple of days on top of the kitchen cabinets until
she settled, and now spends most of her time sleeping on my computer chair or
chattering out of the window at every bird she sees. She is fascinated with
water and will drink from the kitchen tap, and her owner was right about her
being good with dogs! She is fantastic with my dog Loki, plays with her, licks
her, even jumps on her back to get onto the sofa! She is turning out to be a
real character! Have attached some pictures, the first one was taken on
the first day, on top of the kitchen cabinet, and some of her meeting Loki for
the first time. Also one of Loki with our previous oriental Sofi, hopefully
Heidi and Loki will be that close one day. Take care Liz Buffy and Friends
 Hi Pauline, See
attached the photo of Buffy and her new friends, Strife the moggy and Hottie the Lancashire Heeler. She's settled in really well. We'll stay in touch. All the best,
Alison and
Anne
Pollyanna
Hi Pauline,
I am attaching a photo of Pollyanna ( with Leo) as
you may not remember her. It was a few years back when I collected
her.
Thanks for the support

Sasa
Before homing In her new homeHi Pauline
Sasa has come on in leaps & bounds. Sleeps in
my bed & loves playing with any kittens we take in.
Attaching the photo of how she was when I adopted
her in May & how she looks today. Regard, Dorothy.
Hi Pauline
Thought I'd send you this picture of Basil (front) and
Cloud (back), they are getting on really well as you can see. Basil is on my
lap whenever I sit down when he's not looking what Cloud's up to.
Hope you are well.

Isis Morning Pauline,
Its Fiona from
Lincolnshire...Mum took Isis from you a few week
ago. You will be very pleased to hear that they are so happy and
would think they had always been together. She
absolutely adores her.
Mum has asked about Isis's paperwork,
would it be possible for her to have them now. She has been asking for
ages but I keep forgetting !!!!
I hope everything went OK for
you in France and the outcome was what you wanted.
Thanks so much again Pauline. Mum & Isis make the perfect
couple.
Fiona & Myles
Oscar and Mollie Hi Pauline
Just a quick line to let you know how well the kittens have settled in. It's
been difficult getting photos as they are never still for long enough. However
we've managed a couple when they were asleep, with Casper (6 yrs Bluepoint)
curled up with them.
Speak to you soon
Kath & Brian
